We had our first hummingbirds today as well as Black-throated Green Warblers and N. Parulas. The White-throated and Savannah Sparrows aren't nearly as plentiful as they were a week ago. We have a pair of Bluebirds checking out the bird houses and a Chickadee has nearly completed its nest in another box. They make the most cozy of nests-it looks like it used fur from my cat that I brushed out and put in the compost. Also, I watched it strip the down off the Interrupted Fern fronds for more nest material.
