Notes: From 6:35 to 10:00AM, 600 to 1200 migrating passerines seen migrating southward. 3 Empids seen, most likely alders.

Double-crested Cormorant 40, Osprey 2, Bald Eagle 1, Red-tailed Hawk 1, Greater Yellowlegs 1, Bonaparte's Gull X, Northern Flicker 1, Eastern Wood-Pewee 2, Eastern Kingbird 1, Philadelphia Vireo 1, Red-eyed Vireo 2, Black-capped Chickadee 3, Golden-crowned Kinglet 4, American Robin 31, Gray Catbird 2, Cedar Waxwing 25, Tennessee Warbler 1Nashville Warbler 1, Northern Parula 4, Chestnut-sided Warbler 2, Magnolia Warbler 2, Cape May Warbler 5, Yellow-rumped Warbler 10, Palm Warbler 1, American Redstart 6, Common Yellowthroat 4, Wilson's Warbler 1, Canada Warbler 1, White-throated Sparrow 1, and most of the usual species seen at this location at this season.

Wilson's storm-petrel. Ralph Odell reported several west of Stonington July 5, and I saw two july 6. Good to have Ralph back birding!
Half a dozen cedar waxwings eating whatever shadbush berries our family of crows left this morning , July 11.

One or two nestling eagles appear ready to fledge at Carney I. nest. One fledged Thursday from another island nest.
